CALLING ALL SPIRIT SQUADS

Do you know a college or high school team that deserves to be featured on Varsity TV? It's time to cast your vote and show your team some love - Cheerleader's Choice is back! This time, Varsity TV is looking for the top high school and college spirit squads featured this season.

Nominate a high school or college cheer team that you love, and you might just see them featured on the site this season! (Nominations open 8/14)


In 2016, all star cheer fans voted for their favorite gyms to be featured in Cheerleader's Choice: All Star Insider. The programs who had the most votes were featured in films and site content such as Beyond The Routine: Stars Vipers Queen Cobras, For The Love Of Cheer: Bay State All Stars, and more!

Five winners total were awarded banners and a custom feature on Varsity TV. Now high school and colleges have the opportunity to snag their own feature. So you're probably wondering what you get if your team wins, right?

1. The Shooting Stars
Watch the Shooting Stars compete at NCA All-Star Nationals in 2017 in the two-part film series: Beyond The Routine: Shooting Stars & F52.

2. Stars Vipers
Follow the Stars Vipers Queen Cobras as they compete at their season finale competition - The Summit 2017.

3. Cheer Athletics
Meet the coaches and athletes behind the Kitty Katz; an unbelievably successful level 1 junior team at Cheer Athletics Plano.

4. Gravity Cheer
Watch this team from the northeast start their season on the right foot, pushing for perfection.

5. Bay State All Stars
Find out where this team's passion lies, as they end their season in Orlando at The Summit 2017.

HERE'S HOW IT WORKS:

1. Nominate Your Favorite Team!

Fans, athletes, coaches, parents, family and friends: nominate your favorite spirit squad for an opportunity to be chosen to be in an exclusive Varsity TV feature. Nominations begin on August 14th! To enter, tell us a little bit about yourself and the high school or college squad you want to see shining on the sidelines, competition floor, and on Varsity TV.

2. Top 20 Finalists Selected

After the nomination period ends, the Varsity TV panel will review all of the nominations and hand-select 20 finalists to move on to the final fan vote!

TIP: Our team is looking for inspiring athletes, exceptional coaches, spirited traditions, and stand-out stories that makes them unique.

3. VOTE!

After the 20 finalists are selected, FIVE teams will be names this year's 2017-18 Cheerleader's Choice winners! This voting two-week period is important so be sure to recruit your friends, family, school body, community and more to get as many votes as possible!

4. Winner Reveal Week!

The five spirit squads that receive the most votes will be featured this season on Varsity TV! A new winner will be revealed every day during Cheerleader's Choice Reveal Week. It doesn't get more exciting than that! See entry periods, complete rules & details.
