Pass The Meg, Spread The Spirit: Shoutouts Across The Field

Football season is upon us and it's time for our favorite athletes to take the field . . . the cheerleaders!

At football games across the country, cheer and dance teams have joined together to spread school and community spirit with Shoutouts "Across the Field." This fun program is the perfect opportunity for opposing teams to meet and make friends, and for leaders to be rewarded for their hard work and positive energy.

This season, we want YOU to join us in the movement to encourage spirit, leadership, and sportsmanship through Across the Field.

Let's get started, the challenge is easy!

  1. Post pictures with this meg using #AcrosstheField. Be sure to tag @VarsityFashions and your local Rep.
  2. Write a motivational quote or message to inspire the next squad. Include your school name and date, use a permanent marker and leave room for others to write.
  3. Take this meg to your next game! At halftime, walk #AcrosstheField and pass the meg in a public display of sportsmanship, leadership and character.
  4. Take and tag pictures as both teams unite. Send pics to your Varsity Rep for more social coverage.

As the season progresses, the spirit-filled megaphone will travel across your district, region, or even the state and will symbolize spirit and encouragement from all different teams it has touched.

Cheerleaders and dancers are the most visible spirit ambassadors for their school, and Across the Field is a great way to make friends with other squads and highlight all the athletes who go the extra mile.

Contact your local Varsity rep to get started, and don't forget to share your Across the Field memories and pictures with @VarsityFashions using the tag #AcrossTheField.
