Junior Madness: Who Will Take The Crown In L6 Junior Small at NCA?

It's NCA Week!! The busy stretch of the All Star cheer season is here as teams are putting in hard work in the gym to make their routine the best it can be. Some of the best teams in the nation will be heading to Dallas, Texas this upcoming weekend aiming for the coveted megaphone National Champion trophy at the NCA All-Star National Championship. All teams are putting in those final touches & upgrades to their routines in hopes of giving it their all in Dallas this weekend! 

This competition brings out the best of the best and showcases some of the most competitive divisions. One division to keep an eye on this weekend is L6 Junior - Small. These athletes are extremely talented at such a young age, and some of their skills will leave you in awe! Both the L6 Junior - Small and L6 Junior Coed are loaded with talented teams. 

Who will be crowned NCA National Champions this season and pose with the iconic megaphone trophy as well as the staple black 'National Champion' jackets? Let's take a look at the teams in the L6 Junior - Small division: 


L6 Junior - Small

Spirit of Texas Junior Royals

The Junior Royals are the reigning NCA National Champions and are always known for showcasing a clean routine full of skill. That's the case again this season with a routine full of difficult stunts and tumbling. The Junior Royals most recently competed at the CHEERSPORT National All Star Cheerleading Championship where they finished in 5th place. Here is a look at their routine from NCA in 2023:

East Celebrity Elite J-WOW

J-WOW finished in second place last season at NCA after a close battle with the Junior Royals! This season, J-WOW has already found plenty of success recently picking up the first-place win at CHEERSPORT in this L6 Junior - Small division that was jam-packed with six talented teams. Expect to see J-WOW show off a routine with some impressive stunts!

World Cup Starlites

Doubles on doubles in this running tumbling section! The Starlites really show off great tumbling throughout their entire routine. They also showcase an impressive hand-in-hand pop-through for one of their stunt sequences. The Starlites came in third place last season at NCA and will aim to have another successful weekend this year.

Prodigy All Stars Moonlight 

Last season, Moonlight competed in the L6 Junior Coed division where they finished in third place at NCA All-Star Nationals. This season, they are back competing in the L6 Junior Small division and are another team that puts on a show every time they take the stage. They showcase awesome standing fulls, as well as fun choreography and lifts into their stunts. Their two to doubles that flip through a stunt will leave you in awe!

A-List Athletics Miss 6

You can always count on the ladies of Miss 6 to showcase clean technique throughout their routine. They have beautiful doubles in tumbling sequences, a difficult stunt sequence with those hand-in-hand pop thoughts and full-around switches, and a pyramid that is always switching, flipping, and spinning. Miss 6 took a third-place finish at CHEERSPORT this season after hitting zero. Miss 6 was not at NCA All-Star Nationals last season, but here is a look at their routine from CHEERSPORT in February:
