NCA College Nationals: Mascot, Group, And Partner Stunt Preview!

The mascot, group, and partner stunt competitions are the last three titles up for grabs to close out an eventful weekend at NCA and NDA Collegiate Nationals on Saturday, April 8th. But if you aren't heading to Daytona Beach, Florida, this year, you're in luck! These divisions will be streamed LIVE from the Daytona Beach Bandshell!

The mascot competitors applied to compete either at camp or by video entry and twelve have been selected to bring their crowd-leading routines to the stage! Last year, Sammy the Bearkat from Sam Houston State brought home the gold while Ms. Wuf from NC State was only one point behind him, but will not be returning to Daytona Beach to compete this year. Luckily, NC State's Mr. Wuf will be there to represent as the mascot divisions kick-off at 11:34 AM ET!

Partner stunt is going to be one of the most exciting divisions of the weekend, with 16 talented partners competing for the gold! Teams from some of the most elite programs in the country will be bringing their best stunts to the Bandshell, led by Wilmington University, which is seeded first from video entry. Will WU hang on to the top spot or will the No. 2-seeded University of Kentucky rise to the top?

A trio of all-girl stunt groups from the University of Louisville comprised of the top three seeded groups that qualified for the group stunt competition. The Cardinals are keeping their routines off of social media so the crowd can be surprised by what they'll be bringing to the Bandshell!

Louisville base Alex Birch told us how her top-seeded group is preparing for Daytona Beach:

We've used our time during team practices to focus on our execution. We do a good job of making sure that we don't drop a single stunt. This has helped us a lot with our technique and ability to save stuff. Now we're doing a lot of reps to make sure we're consistent.

Will the UL groups stay on top and each brings home a medal, or will a new group take over one of the top positions?

These are three divisions that you don't want to miss! Tune in LIVE on Saturday, April 8th, to catch all of the action from Daytona Beach!
