Watch The 2018 CHEERSPORT National Cheerleading Championship LIVE!

One of the BIGGEST all star cheer competitions is getting ready to kick off in Atlanta, Georgia! The 2018 CHEERSPORT National Cheerleading Championship begins on February 16 and wraps up on February 18.

This is a huge event for teams looking to earn a bid to one of the end of season championships. CHEERSPORT is giving away bids to The Summit, D2 Summit, The U.S. Finals, and 27 total bids to the 2018 Cheerleading Worlds. Nine of those will be full paid, while the other 18 will be at-large.

It all starts Friday evening with the CHEERSPORT Friday Night Live Fundraising Event. Level 5 teams will take the mat with a goal to raise as much money as possible for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

Before heading to compete in Atlanta, these teams have been fundraising for St. Jude and spreading awareness through their team social media accounts. This fun kickoff to the championship isn't about hitting a perfect routine — it's about giving back and leading the fight to end childhood cancer. There will be donation booths set up on site at CHEERSPORT, but fans watching along on Varsity TV can donate online as well.

The competition will continue Saturday and Sunday as all star athletes levels 1-5 compete for their chance at the coveted title. This is the first stop on the way to the Varsity All Star Triple Crown, so teams are hoping for two zero-deduction routines that will earn them the title and a bid.

Defending Champs You Don’t Want To Miss!

Stingray All Stars Orange dominated the Senior Large Level 5 division going back-to-back in 2016 and 2017. The Rays are swarming in from Marietta, Georgia, and they’re ready to sting! Can they make it a three-peat at the 2018 CHEERSPORT National Cheerleading Championship?

Top Gun All Stars TGLC claimed bragging rights last year in the Senior Large Coed Level 5 division, and they’re coming back to defend their title! The team will be traveling from Miami, and there’s no doubt that TGLC will show up and show out. Will the champions defend their title and go back-to-back?

It was a close one last year in the Senior Large Level 4 division as the Braves from ACE pulled out the win. The team travels from Birmingham, Alabama, and they’re showing up to defend their title! Do they have what it takes to win again?

Cheer Extreme C4 Bombsquad blew up the competition in 2017 after claiming their national title in the Senior Large Coed Level 4 division. The team will be leaving their hometown in Kernersville, North Carolina, in hopes to complete their mission at the 2018 CHEERSPORT National Cheerleading Championship. Will they bring home another title this year?
