It's been five months since the talented U.S. National Teams took the mat last, and we still can't get over the incredibly talented and patriotic routines they brought to the ICU stage.

If you missed out on seeing the red, white, and blue take the mat in Orlando, don't worry because the newest three-part Varsity TV documentary goes behind the scenes with the U.S. National All Girl team on their journey to the 2018 ICU World Cheerleading Championships.

Here are six things you probably didn't know about the U.S. National All Girl team:

1. The athletes who made up the USA All Girl team in 2018 came from eight different universities, including the University of Alabama, University of Louisville, Morehead State University, Oklahoma State University, University of West Georgia, Indiana University, North Carolina State, and Purdue University.

2. The U.S. National Premier cheer teams are led by a coaching staff of six who have over 80 combined national and world championship titles.

3. The U.S. National All Girl team went undefeated winning the ICU World Cheerleading Championship from 2009-2017.

4. The U.S. National Teams have a combined five ICU partner stunt championship titles. Three for all girl and two for coed.

5. Training for the U.S. National Team is held at the LakePoint Sports Complex in Georgia.

6. To help with muscle soreness, USA Cheer athletes take mandatory ice baths during training.
