NEW Competition: Double Down Championships - Atlanta

The season is just getting started, and teams are doing whatever it takes to receive a bid!

Be on the lookout for the next bid recipients at the newest competition around, Double Down Championships - Atlanta.

The competition will take place at the Gwinnett Arena in Duluth, Georgia, and now is the chance for teams to qualify early in the season!

Qualifying Events

  • The Summit 2019
  • The D2 Summit 2019
  • The U.S. Finals

All Star cheerleaders will take over the facility on Saturday, November 17 and will wrap up the competition on Sunday.

There’s a unique twist on this new competition brand! The coaches will be given the opportunity to strategize their team’s performance scores. At the conclusion of each division on Day 1, coaches will have the opportunity to strategically select a percentage of their score to carry over into Day 2.

Scoring options: 25/75, 50/50, 75/25, 0/100

*Each coach's selected percentage will be kept confidential by Varsity All Star Officials.

How It Works:

Coaches and athletes evaluate their team’s Day 1 performance and Varsity All Star scores. Then, they wait for their respective division to conclude and make a strategic decision based on the potential of their routine and what they are capable of accomplishing. Finally, they choose a percentage of their Day 1 score to be carried over to Day 2.

This is one unique event you will not want to miss! Be sure to keep an eye out for Double Down's Social updates for the most up to date competition coverage.
