Must-Watch Cheerleading Rivalry: All Girl Division l

Year after year, the competition among the teams in All Girl Division l remains some of the fiercest you will see in Orlando. College cheerleading fans everywhere are tuning in to watch the 2020 UCA & UDA College Cheerleading and Dance Team National Championship this weekend, and this division is one everyone is talking about.

For the past decade, two spirit programs have been battling it out for the top spot with some of the most elite all girl stunt skills you will see at the championship.

Morehead State University and the University of West Georgia have one of the biggest and most respected rivalries in cheerleading. Each year the two teams put on incredible performances making every awards ceremony a nail-biting experience.

In 2019, the University of West Georgia took back the top spot claiming their ninth UCA College National Championship title.

While the Wolves are hoping to start a winning streak, you can’t ever count out the Eagles.

Morehead State is competing to take back the division title since last they last won in 2018. A win this weekend would mark Morehead All Girl’s 13th UCA College National Championship title.

While West Georgia and Morehead remain heavy favorites in the division, some up-and-coming college cheerleading programs have shown strong performances in recent years, so don’t forget to add them to your watch list for this weekend.

Sacramento State placed third in 2019 with a clean and collegiate routine that showcased the team's technique and athleticism. The Hornets are hoping to edge closer to the top of this season and we can't wait to see skills they bring to the mat this weekend.
