PCT Cobras Hope To Put On A Show At Feel The Power East
As Canadian cheerleading continues to rise more and more each season, PCT Cobras have proven that they are more than able to be one of the leaders.
Feel the Power East is a fascinating showdown for Worlds teams, with it being the first-ever event in Canada with two Full Paid Worlds bids on the line. Boasting several teams that came home with medals from The Cheerleading Worlds 2019, the competition to snatch up those bids is fierce.
The program PCT Cobras is certainly no stranger to being at the top, both in Canada and on a global level. They ended up with the bronze medal in International Large Coed last year, and they have their sights set on making their way on to the podium once more.
Owner CJ Pugh told us, “They are working hard to prove that they deserved to be on that podium and have been working to make that a reality [this year].” Visions of hearing their name called in a medal position at this year’s competition are driving this team to be the best they’ve ever been.
Temptation came out of the gates swinging early on in the season, garnering a vast amount of public notice with their early-season debut. This season especially, they are showing out a tremendous amount of difficulty, and they are hoping to capitalize on that to get where they want to be.
"A highlight this weekend would be their coed stunting sections," shared Pugh. "They throw strong unassisted coed stunts with lots of difficulty.”
The envelope for difficulty, specifically in this division, is constantly being pushed, and this team refuses to be left behind. They are putting out skills that will keep them very much in contention to be one of the best in the world.
As Canadian cheerleading continues to rise more and more each season, PCT Cobras have proven that they are more than able to be one of the leaders. The gym brought 5 World's Level teams to Feel The Power East - Rebellion, Resurrection, Odyssey, Vengeance, and of course, Temptation.

In a field filled with such talent, all the PCT World's teams are be expected to be one of the favorites to finish the weekend on top. Don’t count them out, and be ready for a great show when they hit the mat. They are ready to show Canada and the world that they don’t plan on going anywhere anytime soon.
