17 Teams Grabbed A Paid Bid & 600 Points To The League This Last Weekend
Seventeen teams have already secured their Paid Bid AND 600 points for The League, giving them a solid start to the season and an early boost of confidence.
The first 600-point League events are in the books, and the 2022-2023 season is off to a roaring start. Teams who competed at the 2022 WSF Louisville Grand Nationals and 2-2022 Spirit Celebration Christmas Grand Nationals had the opportunity to win the first Paid Bids to The Cheerleading Worlds 2023, The Summit 2023, and The D2 Summit 2023 and also take home the first 600 League points of the season.
Each Varsity event awards varying points based on the assigned event and placement point value. Six hundred-point events offer the maximum number of points awarded during the season. The first-place team receives 600 points, the second 574, the third 548, and so on. You can view the entire League Points System in this article.
The beginning of the season is often a great time to find out what's working and what's not to set your team up for long-term success. But it also can be a great time to secure early bids and points to The League before the largest competitions.
