Teams will be heading to Kenner, Louisiana for The American Coastal Kenner Nationals to rack up points for The League and gain bids to the most prestigious end-of-season events!

The League: 300 Points Up For Grabs


Venue Insider: 

The American Coastal Kenner Nationals is taking place at the Pontchartrain Center in Kenner, Louisiana! The 2-day event will be filled with intense competition with teams coming from all over the Southwest and other parts of the country! 

While at the competition you may have a few questions like; What are the best places to eat? What is there to do in Kenner? Well, don't worry Varsity TV is giving you a detailed itinerary of where to go and what to do! 

Kenner is a suburb outside of New Orleans that offers an abundance of places to eat. Head to Kenner Seafood INC, where you can get whole platters of crayfish, crab, oysters, and other shellfish! If you're not into that sort of thing you can also check out Ted's Smokehouse which offers some of the best BBQ in Louisiana! Another favorite when visiting is Cafe Du Monde where you can get one of their world-famous beignets!  

If you are looking for something to do after the competition Louisiana is home to street car rides, the Audubon Aquarium and Zoo, New Orleans City Park, and the Museum of Art.

  • 2 Partial-Paid Bids to The D2 Summit
  • 4 At-Large Bids to The D2 Summit
  • 1 Partial-Paid Bid to The Youth Summit
  • 2 At-Large Bid to The Youth Summit
  • At-Large Bids to The Regional Summit
  • 1 Bronze Bid to The Quest 
  • 3 At-Large Bids to The Quest 
  • Golden Tickets to The U.S. Finals

The League by Varsity All Star

The League is the official points system for the sport of All Star cheerleading.

Every team who competes at a Varsity All Star Event this season will be included in The League. Team standings are determined by the Points System displayed here. At each Varsity All Star event your team completes, your team will earn points based on the assigned event and placement point value. 

At the end of the season, your top 5 Varsity All Star event scores will be used to calculate your final standing. In total, 120 winners will be recognized from 1st – 3rd place across each region. One champion will be crowned in each of the 5 regions across the 8 eligible divisions, meaning 40 champions will be awarded. Champions will win cash and prizes!
