Four Midwest teams will take the mat in the competitive division and they are all looking to secure their bid to The Cheerleading Worlds. The top team will also earn 500 points for The League!

Elite Cheer - Stars

Elkhorn, NE

The Elite Cheer Stars are ready to debut their new routine at America's Best Kansas City Grand Nationals! This Nebraska team historically has fought hard in this competition rising from second place on Day 1 to take the top spot after Day 2! Elite Cheer Stars earned first place at ABKC in both 2019 and 2021. 

Elite Cheer Stars continued their season getting stronger at every competition which led them to earn the silver medals at The Cheerleading Worlds 2022!

ICE - Aftershock

Chesterfield, MO

ICE Aftershock is looking to earn a big win in their home state of Missouri this weekend at America's Best.

Last season, the team made it to the final round of competition at The Cheerleading Worlds finishing in eighth place. The team is new to the Americas Best Kansas City Grand National stage so look back at Aftershock's routine from last year as they prepare to shock the crowd in the Show-Me State.

Twist & Shout - Obsession

Edmond, OK

The ladies of Twist & Shout Obsession are veterans of America's Best Kansas City Grand Nationals! In 2021, Obsession earned an event score of 92.7917 to claim second place at last year's America's Best Kansas City Grand Nationals.

Planet Spirit - Solar Girls

Minneapolis, MN

Planet Spirit Solar Girls kicked off the 2022-2023 season earlier this fall at the ASC Return to Atlantis Minneapolis Showdown. The team lost 3.9 points in deductions over the weekend taking their 92.8 raw event score down to 90.334 to finish the weekend. The Minnesota team will be joining the L6 Senior XSmall competition for the first time this weekend in Kansas City and they are hoping to hit a zero-deduction routine and claim the prestigious division title.
