The American Grand Nationals 2022 in Las Vegas, Nevada, is complete, and it was a show! It marks the first opportunity for teams on the West Coast to earn 600 points for The League and Paid Bids to The Cheerleading Worlds, The Summit, The D2 Summit, and The Youth Summit. 

Over 200 teams competed in Las Vegas as they battled it out for points, bids, and the National Champion title. Sixty-one teams from 24 programs took home a first-place title and 600 points for The League. For many programs, this will be the last time they compete before the new year, and was a great opportunity to grab high-point values.

Who Took Home the Most First-Place Points at The American Grand?

The California All Stars - 15 First-Place Finishes

The California All Stars took home 15 first-place finishes, earning the program a total of 6,600 points to The League. The J-Spades’ in L5 Junior Medium secured the gym's highest score of the weekend with a 96.7125 which also earned them a paid bid to The Summit 2023.

Top Gun All Stars Arizona’s five first-place finishes earned them 3,000 League points. Recon’s first-place finish and final event score earned them a Paid Bid to The Summit 2023. TGOC’s two hit-zero performances earned them the highest Worlds-division score of the weekend and a Paid Bid to The Cheerleading Worlds 2023.
