Who Is Leading The League As We Head Into 2023?
As we close out 2022 and head into the new year, let's take a look at which all star teams are leading The League!
The 2022-2023 competition season is off to an epic start and as we close out the year, it's time to take a look at which teams are competing at the top of their game.
This season, there is a new way for teams to find out how they compare against other teams across the country. The League by Varsity All Star is a season-long battle to the top, changing the conversation from “Who won the weekend?” to “Who is at the top this season?”
The League divides the country into five regions and will compare teams based on age categories. The four age categories will be Youth, Junior, Senior, and Coed. Both regionally and nationally, The League will compare all teams across Levels in each age category and split by Division I and Division II.
At each Varsity All Star event your team completes, your team will earn points based on the assigned event and placement point value. At the end of the season, your top 5 Varsity All Star event scores will be used to calculate your final standing.
600 points is the highest point value that a team can win at a single competition this season. In 2022, teams had the opportunity to compete at five different 600-point events: WSF Louisville Grand Nationals, Spirit Celebration Christmas Grand Nationals, ASC Battle Under The Big Top Grand Nationals, The American Grand Nationals, and Encore Grand Nationals.
After two months full of action-packed all star events, ten programs hold a top three spot in the National standings for The League. Stars Vipers San Antonio has an incredible seven teams in the top three nationally.
