2023 is here, and we’re ready to kick it off with another action-packed weekend. Spirit Cheer Super Nationals in Atlantic City, NJ, is the first 600-point event of the year. 600-point events are the largest League events of the season and offer teams an excellent opportunity to rise in The League standings. See below for a sneak peek at where Northeast teams stand heading into the weekend.

As a reminder, teams win points for The League by competing at eligible Varsity events throughout the season. Teams began winning points for the 2022-2023 season in November and December 2022. At the end of the season, The League will take the top five point values to create a final score. Varsity All Star will recognize the top three teams in eight different divisions across five regions. The League will also name a champion for each of the divisions and regions as well. 

We are just a few weeks away from the public release of The League standings. But we’re giving teams competing at Spirit Cheer Super Nationals a sneak peek at where they stand. It is still very early in the season, and these standings and point values will change quite a bit! If you are competing at Spirit Cheer and you are not listed, it is because this is your first point-eligible event. 

As you will see below, there is fierce competition heading into the weekend! There are 32 teams ranked in the top ten. And a special shoutout to the teams currently sitting in first, second, and third!
