45 teams took the stage this morning in Medium Varsity Game Day Prelims to showcase their sideline traditions at the 2023 UDA National Dance Team Championship. This is the fifth year for the Game Day divisions at NDTC and the competition is bigger, better, and more spirited than ever.

On Day 1 of the championship, Varsity teams are competing to advance to the next round of competition. 20 teams from Medium Varsity Game Day earned their spot in Semi-Finals tomorrow and one team from each Prelims group with the highest score advanced straight through to Finals and will have one last chance to dance their way to a championship title and a white satin jacket.

After Prelims, Los Alamitos and Perry High School have earned their spot in Medium Varsity Game Day Finals on Sunday! Both West Coast teams earned above an 89 with their spirited performances!

Los Alamitos is the defending Medium Varsity Game Day champions, do they have what it takes to defend their spirited title in 2023? We can't wait to find out!
