Broken Arrow High School and Archbishop Shaw High School are two dominant teams in the Medium Varsity Coed Game Day division at the UCA National High School Cheerleading Championship. Over the past six years, one of these teams has walked away on top. In Varsity TV's latest three-part docu-series "Head To Head: Broken Arrow & Archbishop Shaw", we walk through their journey in 2022 for a deeper dive into what competing in this division is like!

Broken Arrow High School Coaches
Coach Kyrstin Delehanty Blood
- Kyrstin has been a coach at Broken Arrow for seven years! Growing up she cheered at Pauls Valley High School, competed in all star at Oklahoma Twisters, and was a UCA Instructor for eight years!
Coach Kayla Parker Reather
- Kayla is in her fifth year of coaching at Broken Arrow High School. During her time as an assistant coach, she has coached winning teams in the Game Day division at NCA High School Nationals in 2020, the Game Day division at the UCA National High School Cheerleading Championship in 2021, OSSAA Game Day Regionals in 2020, and OSSAA Coed State Championship in 2022!
Coach Taylor Moos Gee
- Taylor has coached at Broken Arrow High School for four years. When she was an athlete, she cheered at NEO and the University of Oklahoma!

Reese Folmar
- Reese cheered for Broken Arrow all four years of high school and she is now going to college to study Speech Pathology!
Trey Wilcher
- Trey has cheered at Broken Arrow High School for three years and after graduation, he hopes to attend the University of Oklahoma and become a member of their cheerleading team!
Makhi Hanley
- Makhi is originally from Wichita, Kansas, and last season was her first-ever year in cheerleading!
Lily Kunze
- Lily has cheered for Broken Arrow for three years and during her time as an athlete, she has won two UCA National Championship titles along with an NCA All-Star and Summit Championship title! After graduation Lily hopes to attend the University of Central Oklahoma where she wants to try out for their cheerleading team and pursue a degree in Photography.
Archbishop Shaw High School Coaches
Coach Tommy & Tammy Trahan
- Tommy and Tammy have been coaching cheerleading for 30 years! They were never cheerleaders but were asked to take over the program in 1991 by their athletic director. They began bringing teams to the UCA National High School Cheerleading Championship in 1994 and have coached Archbishop Shaw to seven UCA National Championship titles!
Coach Codi Amadeo
- Codi cheered for Archbishop Shaw from 1999 to 2004. After graduating, she cheered on the Tigers at LSU and was also a UCA Instructor! Codi has been a part of every championship at Shaw either as a competitor, coach, or choreographer!

Olivia Dicarlo
- Olivia cheered for Archbishop Shaw for five years. During her time as an athlete, she has earned three Louisiana State Championship titles, five regional championship titles, and two UCA National Championship titles.
Madison Fiorella
- Madison cheered at Archbishop Shaw for five years where she won three Louisiana State Game Day Championships and two UCA Game Day National Championships! She is currently studying nursing and continuing her cheerleading career at the University of Louisiana Lafayette where she was a 2023 UCA Coed Division IA Finalist!
Brooklyn Stansbury
- Brooklyn cheered at Archbishop Shaw for four years where she won two Louisiana State Game Day Championships and two UCA Game Day National Championships! She is now continuing her education as a Psychology and Criminology major at Louisiana State University.
Brock Dupre
- Brock cheered his Senior year at Archbishop Shaw High School. During his time in school, he was an all-state lacrosse player, a two-time district soccer player, the salutatorian of his class and he earned a 30 on the ACT! He is currently enrolled at Louisiana State University where he is studying Kinesiology: Pre-Medicine and is a member of the Ogden Honors College!
This Weekend The Teams Return To The National Stage
This weekend, both teams will return to the UCA National High School Cheerleading Championship to showcase their spirited game day traditions on stage and compete for the title of 2023 UCA Medium Varsity Coed Game Day National Champions!
