Will Neon Hold On To Their League Lead In DI Senior For Another Week?
The Stingray All Stars Neon is currently at the top of the standings for DI Senior in the Southeast. Will they add 600 points to their score at CHEERSPORT?
The 2023 CHEERSPORT National All Star Cheerleading Championship is underway now and all star teams are battling it out in Atlanta, Georgia for their chance at the championship title and up to 600 points to The League.
The Stingray All Stars Neon is currently sitting at the top of the standings for DI Senior in the Southeast region with 2,174 points and they are looking to hold on to their first-place spot for another week.
Neon has competed at four League-eligible events so far this season claiming 600 points at both the JAMfest Cheer Super Nationals and the US Spirit of Hope Grand Nationals this past January. At the start of the 2022-2023 season, Neon earned 400 points with a win at the 2022 CHEERSPORT Cartersville Classic and 574 points with a second-place finish at the ASC Battle Under The Big Top Grand Nationals.
The League winner will be calculated by combining a team’s five highest points earned during the regular season. As we head deeper into the nationals season, the competition is getting stronger and it’s more difficult for teams to take home the top spot and 600 points.
After a hit-zero performance on Day 1 of the 2023 CHEERSPORT National All Star Cheerleading Championship, the Neon Rays are currently sitting in second place in the L6 Senior Small division with a performance score of 93.6667. Cheer Extreme Raleigh SSX is leading the division with a performance score of 95.4.
If Neon holds on to their second-place rank after today's performance, they will add an additional 574 points to their League total and head into NCA Week with 2,748 points!
The weekend isn't over yet and anything can happen once the curtain opens on the CHEERSPORT mat. Will Neon hold on to their League lead In DI Senior for another week?
