The UCA National High School Cheerleading Championship qualifying competitions begin this month and there’s no better place to launch than the UCA Space Center Center Regional. 

The 2023 UCA Space Center Regional is October 21- 22 in Huntsville, Alabama as teams compete for a chance to qualify for the 2024 UCA National High School Cheerleading Championship. 

The event takes place at the Von Braun Convention Center and features Division I, coed, non-tumbling, non-building, and Division II teams.

The Competition At The 2023 UCA Space Center Regional

Teams will be competing their traditional, game day, and recreational routines in hopes of earning that bid to compete at the NHSCC in sunny Orlando, FL, and gain the experience of a lifetime! 

With the UCA game day division growing, teams will be bringing their own traditions from their school to the UCA Space Center Regional to showcase what their hometown game day is like! Game day routines consist of a band chant, a situational sideline, a cheer, and ends in the team’s very own fight song!

Coming to defend their titles in the game day divisions are  Desoto Central High School, Grissom High School, Tupelo High School and more!
