The League by Varsity All Star is the official Points System for All Star cheerleading. New for 2023-2024, Level 6 teams are now eligible to go head-to-head and earn points at each event during the season to see who will finish on top of The League Standings in May. 

But are you curious about who has the potential to take home the trophy in League 6 Coed and League 6 All-Girl? We have you covered. Introducing the League 6 Points Potential! 

So how does it work?

Each time you take the mat and compete at a Varsity All Star event, you have a higher chance of reaching your points potential.

So let's talk about Points Potential! 

The League 6 Points Potential is determined by the top six Varsity All Star events that your team attends this season. 

For example, let's say a team's schedule looks like this:

• Event One: 500 Points
• Event Two: 700 Points
• Event Three: 700 Points
• Event Four: 600 Points
• Event Five: 600 Points
• Event Six: 600 Points
• Event Seven: 600 Points

Since the League 6 Points Potential is based on your top six events, to find your total points potential you would drop the lowest-scoring event, in this case, that would be the 500-point event. Add up the rest of your points, and your League 6 Points Potential total would be 3,800 points!

The League by Varsity All Star

The League by Varsity All Star is the official points system for the sport of All Star cheerleading.

Every team who competes at a Varsity All Star Event this season will be included in The League. Team standings are determined by the Points System displayed here. At each Varsity All Star event your team completes, your team will earn points based on the assigned event and placement point value.

At the end of the season, your top 6 Varsity All Star event scores will be used to calculate your final regional standing. Nationally, all point totals will be accumulated and tallied to determine your National ranking. In total, 128 winners will be recognized from 1st – 3rd place across each region. All Girl & Coed Level 6 Worlds teams will compete in their own national conference, League 6. One champion will be crowned in each of the 5 regions across the 8 eligible divisions, and two will be crowned in League 6, meaning 42 champions will be awarded in total. Champions will win their share of $500k in cash and prizes!
