The mountains are calling to say ALOHA to a weekend full of All Star cheerleading! 

Teams will be heading to Gatlinburg, Tennessee, for the 2023 Aloha Gatlinburg Showdown on December 9-10th! The weekend will be one to remember as teams fight for first competing for bids to end-of-season championship events and up to 500 points for The League by Varsity All Star!

The 2023 Gatlinburg Showdown offers all star teams the chance to earn a bid to a variety of end-of-season events.

• 1 Partial-Paid Bid to The Summit
• 4 At-Large Bids to The Summit 
• 1 IASF At-Large Bids to The Summit 
• 1 Partial-Paid Bid to The D2 Summit
• 4 At-Large Bids to The D2 Summit   
• 1 Partial-Paid Bid to The Youth Summit
• 3 At-Large Bid to The Youth Summit   
• Top 3 teams in eligible divisions will earn At-Large Bids to The Regional Summit 
• 1 Partial-Paid Bid to The Recreational Summit or Silver Bid to The Quest
• 1 At-Large Bid to The Recreational Summit or Bronze Bid to The Quest
• 3 Wild Card Bids to The Recreational Summit or At-Large Bids to The Quest for AFF Divisions

The League by Varsity All Star

The League by Varsity All Star is the official ranking system for the sport of All Star cheerleading, changing the conversation from “Who won the weekend?” to “Who ranks at the top this season?” 

Every team who competes at a Varsity All Star Event this season will be included in The League by Varsity All Star. Team rankings are determined by the Points System displayed here. At each Varsity All Star event your team completes, your team will earn points based on the assigned event and placement point value. 

At the end of the season, your top 5 Varsity All Star event scores will be used to calculate your final rank. In total, 120 winners will be recognized from 1st – 3rd place across each region. One champion will be crowned in each of the 5 regions across the 8 eligible divisions, meaning 40 champions will be awarded in total. Champions will win cash and prizes!
