American Cheer Power has been putting on championship events across the country for more than three decades. The competitors have grown to love the themes and unique awards, coaches appreciate the top-quality events, and parents even get involved, making it fun for the whole family.

What To Know About The Moody Gardens Convention Center

Moody Gardens is a one-stop shop for events, entertainment, lodging, dining, and more. It has grown exponentially since being introduced in 1986 as a horse-riding area with a hippotherapy riding program. 

The Moody Gardens Hotel Spa and Convention Center is just one small piece of the expansive property along Hope Boulevard.

There’s also a beach, a variety of educational opportunities, greenhouses, a water treatment plant, a Rainforest Pyramid with exotic plants, a Discovery Pyramid with science exhibits, an Aquarium Pyramid with aquatic attractions and aquatic animals and fish, theaters, a golf course, a ropes course, and many other displays and attractions to keep the whole family busy.

The League by Varsity All Star

The League by Varsity All Star is the official ranking system for the sport of All Star cheerleading, changing the conversation from “Who won the weekend?” to “Who ranks at the top this season?” 

Every team that competes at a Varsity All Star Event this season will be included in The League by Varsity All Star. 

Team rankings are determined by the Points System displayed here. At each Varsity All Star event your team competes, your team will earn points based on the assigned event and placement point value. 

At the end of the season, your five best Varsity All Star event scores will be used to calculate your final rank. 

In total, 120 winners will be recognized from first to third place across each region. One champion will be crowned in each of the five regions across the eight eligible divisions, meaning 40 champions will be awarded in total. Champions will win cash and prizes!
