It's almost time for the 2024 GSSA Grand Nationals! Relive the action from last season's L2 Junior - D2 - Small Division ahead of the event
It's almost time to head to Bakersfield, California for another exciting Grand Nationals event at the 2024 GSSA Bakersfield Grand Nationals! All the action is set to begin January 13th at the Mechanics Bank Arena. Ahead of the event, teams will get their first look at The Leaderboard to see where they stand in the points race for The League by Varsity All Star presented by Corkcicle. The Leaderboard will be revealed for the first time this season on January 9th. As teams take the stage in Bakersfield, they'll have another chance to earn 500 points towards The League.
Fun fact: GSSA was founded in 1999 and originally started as the Coaches Association for California providing scholarship and performance opportunities for cheerleaders and dancers. As of today, GSSA has awarded over $100,000 in scholarships to cheerleaders and dancers.

The League by Varsity All Star
The League by Varsity All Star is the official ranking system for the sport of All Star cheerleading, changing the conversation from “Who won the weekend?” to “Who ranks at the top this season?”
Every team who competes at a Varsity All Star Event this season will be included in The League. Team rankings are determined by the Points System displayed here. Teams earn points based on the assigned event and placement point value.
At the end of the season, your top 6 Varsity All Star event scores will be used to calculate your final rank. In total, 120 winners will be recognized from 1st – 3rd place across each region. One champion will be crowned in each of the 5 regions across the 8 eligible divisions, and two League 6 conferences, meaning 42 champions will be awarded in total. Champions will win cash and prizes!
