The 2024 UCA & UDA College Cheerleading and Dance Team National Championship is almost here where spirit and tradition takes center stage at the ESPN Wide World of Sports at the Walt Disney World Resort. The entire weekend features some of the most elite college spirit programs in the nation showcasing their skills and school spirit. All the action kicks off with the UCA & UDA College Game Day divisions where fans get a first-hand look at the spirit and tradition of each college. 

The College Game Day Divisions and the Spirit Program Divisions showcase what traditional cheerleading is all about – leading the crowd! In these divisions, teams will be evaluated on their ability to lead the crowd through their fight song, a situational sideline cheer, and a game day time out routine. 

Game Day At A Glance:

Here's some fun facts about the Game Day Divisions: 

• Teams can not have more than 30 members on the floor.
• Teams can add up to one mascot in their routine.
• Teams can add one pep band or drumline to the performance. 
• Judges are looking for use of crowd leading tools such as poms, signs, megaphones, and flags. 

Game Day Divisions:

There are SEVEN Game Day Cheer Divisions:

• Division IA Coed Cheer Game Day (NCAA Division I – FBS)
• Division IA All Girl Cheer Game Day (NCAA Division I – FBS)
• Open Coed Cheer Game Day (5 or more males, NCAA I – FCS, NCAA II, NCAA III, Jr. Colleges & NAIA)
• Small Coed Cheer Game Day (4 males or less, NCAA I – FCS, NCAA II, NCAA III, Jr. Colleges & NAIA)
• Open All Girl Game Day (NCAA Division I – FCS, NCAA II, Division III, Jr. Colleges & NAIA)
• Division IA Spirit Program Game Day (For Cheer and Dance Combined) (NCAA Division I – FBS)
• Open Spirit Program Game Day (For Cheer and Dance Combined) (NCAA I – FCS, NCAA II, NCAA III, Jr. Colleges & NAIA)
