For more than 35 years, the UCA & UDA College Cheerleading and Dance Team National Championship has been the culmination of the season for cheerleaders and dancers across the country.

It's the most prestigious college cheer and dance championship in the country, and it all takes place this weekend at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex at the Walt Disney World Resort.

The first UCA & UDA College National Champions of the weekend came from the College Game Day Divisions and the Spirit Program Divisions. This marks the seventh year for the  Game Day divisions which showcase what traditional cheerleading is all about – leading the crowd! 

Teams competing in these divisions brought their favorite sideline traditions to the mat to display how they lead their community and fans back at home on game day.

The event will end on Sunday with the last of the cheer divisions, Division IA Cheer Finals, All Girl Division IA Finals and Small Coed Division IA Cheer Finals competing.

Who Has Won The Most UCA College Nationals Championships? That Would Be Morehead State

Morehead State, hailing from Morehead, Kentucky, had won 53 nationals championships coming into the 2024 UCA College Nationals. That is more than any other program. They won No. 54 on Jan. 13.
