USA Spirit Nationals/College Championships/Junior Nationals – three amazing events for competitors of all ages and skill levels on one unforgettable weekend – taking over the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, California.

This collaboration is the perfect opportunity for young competitors and up-and-coming talent to see what’s happening at the next level, and you won’t want to miss a minute of the action, either!

USA Spirit Nationals

USA Spirit Nationals is approaching its 40th year of bringing together competitors in a variety of categories – cheerleading, song/pom, song/jazz, pep flag/short flag and mascot.

There’s actually a lot to it, beginning with show cheer and group stunts Friday (Feb. 16), song/pom, song/jazz, pep flag/short flag and mascot competition Saturday (Feb. 17) and Game Day divisions taking the stage Saturday, as well.

USA Collegiate Championships

This portion of the weekend includes competitors in cheer, dance and mascoting from community colleges and four-year schools from all corners of the country. 

Almost 1,000 student-athletes will compete for glory across 15 divisions, while also getting the chance to showcase their skills for the high school teams in town for USA Spirit Nationals and those participating in Junior Nationals.

This event is open to all collegiate teams, with no prequalification necessary. Competition will take place Saturday afternoon/evening and Sunday afternoon/evening.

USA Jr. Nationals

The weekend in Anaheim also allows the top youth/recreation and junior high school teams the opportunity to spend time in the spotlight. It’s a tradition that began in 1990.

Three events – USA Spirit Nationals, the USA Collegiate Championships and USA Jr. Nationals – will bring thousands of athletes and their guests back to the Anaheim Convention Center in 2024.

As the largest convention center on the West Coast, the venue regularly welcomes a variety of events, including meetings, shows, exhibitions, competitions and sporting events. 

The facility, opened in 1967, now reaches across more than 50 acres and features 1.8 million square feet of event space, thanks to a recent $190 million expansion. 

Additional meeting and exhibition space can be found at one of the four nearby hotels. There are more than 3,700 hotels rooms, and visitors can walk everywhere!
