The All Star Challenge Queen of the Nile Baltimore Showdown, one of eight events on the 2024 ASC calendar, visits Baltimore in 2024, and Varsity TV will be there to provide live coverage of the event. 

The competition will take place at the Baltimore Convention Center.

ASC brings together sports and theater, with competitors encouraged to put on a show – be creative and entertaining, while finding the perfect balance between the technical aspects of cheer and dance and a crowd-wowing presentation.

What To Know About The Baltimore Convention Center

Other events in 2024 will visit Maryland and Baltimore, but the latest edition of the ASC Queen of the Nile Baltimore Showdown is the one taking over the Baltimore Convention Center for two days of entertainment and competition. 

The venue, which opened in 1979 and was expanded in 1996, features 300,000 square feet of exhibition space, 50 meeting rooms, a multifunctional ballroom, catering and audio-visual services. It hosts more than 125 events each year.

The League by Varsity All Star

The League by Varsity All Star is the official ranking system for the sport of All Star cheerleading, changing the conversation from “Who won the weekend?” to “Who ranks at the top this season?” 

Every team that competes at a Varsity All Star Event this season will be included in The League by Varsity All Star. 

Team rankings are determined by the Points System displayed here. At each Varsity All Star event your team competes, your team will earn points based on the assigned event and placement point value. 

At the end of the season, your five best Varsity All Star event scores will be used to calculate your final rank. 

In total, 120 winners will be recognized from first to third place across each region. One champion will be crowned in each of the five regions across the eight eligible divisions, meaning 40 champions will be awarded in total. Champions will win cash and prizes!
