The Athletic Championships Orlando Nationals, one of nearly a dozen events on the Athletic Championships calendar, returns to Orlando, Florida, in 2024, this time visiting the Addition Financial Arena, and Varsity TV will be there to provide live coverage of the event.

The Athletic Championships national competitions are two-day events that try to focus on more than just competition. They also want participants and their guests to enjoy the camaraderie and make memories and friends along the way.

What To Know About The Addition Financial Arena

The Athletic Championships Orlando Nationals is headed back to Orlando, Florida, in 2024, and the Addition Financial Arena will play host, giving competitors another opportunity to enjoy the Sunshine State and all the area has to offer, while a different venue gets to experience the magic of competitive cheerleading.

Addition Financial Arena is located on the campus of the University of Central Florida and home to the school’s men’s and women’s basketball programs, while also finding the time to welcome other sporting events, shows, concerts and expos.

The facility, which was constructed in 2006-2007 as a replacement for the original UCF arena (1991), features 252,000 square feet of space, 10,000 seats, 18 luxury suites, other premium seating and club seating with lounge access. Alongside it, is The Venue at UCF, a 1,400-seat multi-purpose facility that is home to the UCF women’s volleyball team.

The League by Varsity All Star

The League by Varsity All Star is the official ranking system for the sport of All Star cheerleading, changing the conversation from “Who won the weekend?” to “Who ranks at the top this season?” 

Every team that competes at a Varsity All Star Event this season will be included in The League by Varsity All Star. 

Team rankings are determined by the Points System displayed here. At each Varsity All Star event your team competes, your team will earn points based on the assigned event and placement point value. 

At the end of the season, your five best Varsity All Star event scores will be used to calculate your final rank. 

In total, 120 winners will be recognized from first to third place across each region. One champion will be crowned in each of the five regions across the eight eligible divisions, meaning 40 champions will be awarded in total. Champions will win cash and prizes!
