There are few places like the Jersey Shore, which features more than 125 miles of coastline. There are beaches, boardwalks, arcades, welcoming little seaside towns, awesome food and proximity to so many fun things to do.
During the summer, the area is overflowing with visitors from New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania – even Canada. In mid-March, it probably won’t be as crowded, though it’s not going to be beach weather yet either.
Toms River itself has plenty of activities, shops, restaurants and other things to keep everyone occupied and fed.
Nearby, visitors will find the famed Seaside Heights (from the hit MTV show “Jersey Shore”), which includes a boardwalk, amusement area and souvenir stops. Point Pleasant offers much of the same. And Atlantic City, though here, there will be a few more things for the adults to enjoy.
