The Athletic Championships Houston Nationals is taking over the Fort Bend Epicenter in Rosenberg, Texas, a suburb of Houston, and Varsity TV will be there to provide live coverage of the event!

What To Know About The Fort Bend Epicenter

The 2024 Athletic Championships Houston Nationals heads to the Fort Bend Epicenter, which officially opened its doors to local and national events with a ribbon-cutting ceremony in August 2023.

The new multi-purpose facility features 230,000 square feet of space and cost $120 million. Inside, are six basketball courts, 12 volleyball courts, plenty of room for indoor and outdoor events and a 10,000-seat arena.

The flexible layout of the property allows for many sporting events, livestock events, sports training, graduations, shows, expos and more. 

Already on the calendar are a regular presence from the Houston Volleyball Academy and upcoming visits from ESPN Top Rank Boxing, All Elite Wrestling and the Hot Wheels Monster Trucks Tour.

The League by Varsity All Star

The League by Varsity All Star is the official ranking system for the sport of All Star cheerleading, changing the conversation from “Who won the weekend?” to “Who ranks at the top this season?” 

Every team that competes at a Varsity All Star Event this season will be included in The League by Varsity All Star. 

Team rankings are determined by the Points System displayed here. At each Varsity All Star event your team competes, your team will earn points based on the assigned event and placement point value. 

At the end of the season, your five best Varsity All Star event scores will be used to calculate your final rank. 

In total, 120 winners will be recognized from first to third place across each region. One champion will be crowned in each of the five regions across the eight eligible divisions, meaning 40 champions will be awarded in total. Champions will win cash and prizes!
