The 2024 Cheer Power Grand Nationals is here, and 24 League 6 teams are preparing for one of their last competitions of the regular 2023-2024 season. The League 6 conferences were introduced at the beginning of the season as a new way for senior-aged Worlds-level teams to compete all season long. Teams win points based on their final division ranking rather than their event score. Each week, The League Leaderboard standings consider the top six point values each team wins during the season. If a team competes at a League event more than six times, the highest scores replace the lowest ones. 

The 2024 Cheer Power Grand Nationals is a 600-point event and an excellent opportunity for The League 6 teams to add to their point value. Every team competing this weekend will add new points, and Famous Superstars Gold will secure their sixth point value.

With only two weeks left for teams to secure points, there will be some changes to the keep an eye out for on The League Leaderboard this upcoming week. In the League 6 All Girl conference, Flipping Out Tumbling Double or Nothing and The Stingray All Stars Blue Angels have the opportunity to surpass 3,000 points and inch closer to the top 10. 

In the League 6 Coed conference, The California All Stars ACES will secure their sixth and final point value for the season. A win worth 600 points could catapult them from twenty-second place to the top five. 

After this weekend, we’ll likely see some exciting shakeups in the overall standings. On top of Cheer Power Grand Nationals, there are two other 600 point events at ACDA Reach the Beach Grand Nationals and Spirit Sports Myrtle Beach Nationals, as well as the final 700 point event, USA All Star Super Nationals.
