The U.S. Finals: Buffalo, being held at the Buffalo Niagara Convention Center in Buffalo, New York, is part of a 13-event end-of-season extravaganza that allows teams to finish their seasons close to home and with another memorable experience together.

This is one of four events scheduled for April 6. The others will take place in Galveston, Texas; Tacoma, Washington; and Las Vegas. 

Four will be held April 13 – Pensacola, Florida; Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; Chicago; Des Moines, Iowa. Three will follow April 20 – Colorado Springs, Colorado; Ocean City, Maryland; Worcester, Massachusetts; 

The action will shift to Louisville, Kentucky, on April 27 and Virginia Beach, Virginia, on May 4.

By breaking up the U.S. Finals into multiple one-day events across many locations, teams have the ability to choose the date and location that work best for them. 

Regardless of what they choose, Varsity TV will be there to provide live coverage of the event, and you won’t want to miss a minute of the action!

Competitors have earned their way to the U.S. Finals through their performances and success at other events, so this is the ultimate way to end the season.

What To Know About The Buffalo Niagara Convention Center

When the U.S. Finals: Buffalo heads to the Buffalo Niagara Convention Center in 2024, it’ll give participants and their guests a chance to celebrate another successful year of cheer and dance, but also get to experience one of the most amazing parts of the United States.

The convention center is located in downtown Buffalo, New York, and about 20 minutes from the famed Niagara Falls. That means there’s plenty to do and eat nearby, while one of the Seven Wonders of the World is just a short drive away.

The venue itself includes 110,000 square feet of flexible exhibit and meeting space – 64,000 and 46,000 square feet, respectively – plenty of space for other activities, break rooms and more.

Buffalo, and upstate New York in general, are home to so much beauty, culture, history, architecture and activities. 

There are many diverse neighborhoods in the Buffalo area. There are scenic waterways and parks surrounded by incredible restaurants, shopping, galleries, museums and countless opportunities to just sit and enjoy it all.

Among the things for which Buffalo is famous is the Buffalo wing, and the area takes that claim very seriously. There’s even a Buffalo Wing Trail that allows visitors to try the wings at a variety of local establishments to determine for themselves which are the best. 

Other iconic foods from the Buffalo area include: its own spin on pizza, roast beef sandwiches called beef on weck, spaghetti parm, a variety of confections and pastries that are unique to the area and the garbage plate (originating in nearby Rochester) – a hodge podge dish that often includes French fries, macaroni salad, baked beans, hot dogs/hamburger patties/chicken tenders/mozzarella sticks, ketchup, mustard, onions and hot sauce.
