The 2024 UCA Houston Regional brings competitive cheer back to the Houston area – specifically, the Fort Bend Epicenter in Rosenberg, Texas – which will give High School, Recreational, and Game Day cheer teams the chance to show the Lone Star State what they’re all about. 

The Universal Cheerleaders Association is built on five decades of tradition, focused on the goal of bringing together the motivation and excitement of cheerleading and the entertainment of high-level skills and athleticism.

After kicking off the new season in mid-October, the schedule of UCA regionals ramps up. 

The Houston Regional is one of almost 50 regional events facilitated across the country each year by UCA, along with the annual UCA National High School Cheerleading Championship at the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Florida.

What To Know About The Fort Bend Epicenter

The Fort Bend Epicenter has only been open since August 2023, and the $120 million state-of-the-art sports and entertainment venue hasn’t wasted any time attracting a variety of events, including the 2024 UCA Houston Regional.

In fact, the venue is so cheer-friendly that the next thing on the calendar is the NCA Lonestar Classic on November 16-17.

The property is about 30 miles south of Houston, which means traveling in and out should be no problem, and there will be countless things to see and do nearby, so competitors and their families can turn the competition weekend(s) into a mini vacation!

The facility features a versatile 230,000 square feet of space, a 10,000-seat arena, five unique event spaces, and an outdoor pavilion, and there’s nothing they don’t plan to host there, from cheerleading to graduations to concerts to professional wrestling to monster trucks.
