The 2024-2025 competition season is underway, and teams are making their way to Denver, Colorado, this weekend in hopes of securing a bid to the 2025 UCA National High School Cheerleading Championship. On October 26, Varsity TV will be streaming the 2024 UCA Mile High Regional, which will feature some of the top teams in the nation, as well as some loaded fan-favorite divisions, including Medium Varsity DI and Large Varsity DI.

Every year, the Medium Varsity DI and Large Varsity DI Divisions bring top performances to the stage at NHSCC. But it all starts at a Regional event, where you have to earn a bid to head to the Walt Disney World Resort in February. Some of the top contenders year after year include 10 of the very teams that we will see this weekend at the UCA Mile High Regional. Douglas County, Cheyenne Central, and Ralston Valley High School will take on the Large Varsity DI division while Prairie View, Cherokee Trail, Columbine, Montrose, Eaglecrest, Dakota Ridge, and Rock Canyon High School take on Medium Varsity DI.
