Insider Info: 2024 Aloha Trenton Showdown

The opening weekend of the new Aloha Spirit season features two great events.

The first is the Aloha Baton Rouge Showdown on Nov. 16, and the action then takes over the Northeast on Nov. 17 with the Aloha Trenton Showdown.

These are two of 15 events that will bring the spirit of the Hawaiian Islands venues across the United States, and you can catch the action live on Varsity TV!

The Aloha Trenton Showdown will bring All Star cheer teams back to the CURE Insurance Arena in Trenton, New Jersey.

At each Aloha Spirit event, competitors, staff, and guests often maintain the island spirit with Hawaiian attire, a luau theme, and the look and feel of our nation’s 50th state.

Since 2001, Aloha Spirit events have been bringing a bit of Hawaiian flair to each competition. During the events, there is an emphasis on “Ohana” or family, and even the awards share the same sentiment.

Another special feature of each event is a 3-foot custom trophy known as the KA MAHALO Award. It is given to the team that exemplifies the spirit of the islands and displays above-and-beyond sportsmanship throughout the competition.

Enjoy complete coverage of the event, as teams in both Division I and Division II go head-to-head with their sights set on obtaining points to The Varsity Cheer League by Varsity All Star and a bid to one of the prestigious end-of-season championships!
