Insider Info: 2024 UCA Tennessee Extreme Regional

November is a busy month for the Universal Cheerleaders Association, and that includes a handful of events across the weekend before Thanksgiving.

Among them, is the 2024 UCA Tennessee Extreme Regional, being held at the Farm Bureau Exposition Center in Lebanon, Tennessee, on Nov. 23.

The UCA Tennessee Extreme Regional will bring High School, Recreational, and Game Day cheer teams to Middle Tennessee for a rockin’ day of competition minutes from the famed Music City – Nashville.

The active UCA schedule and variety of locations help add to the five decades of UCA tradition, which is built on competitions focused on combining the motivation and excitement of cheerleading and the entertainment of high-level skills and athleticism.

The Tennessee Extreme Regional is one of almost 50 regional events facilitated across the country each year by UCA, along with the annual UCA National High School Cheerleading Championship at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida.

By having so many options, teams can compete close to home, and maybe more frequently, while keeping expenses down during their quest to qualify for the season-ending events.

Enjoy complete coverage of the 2024 UCA Tennessee Extreme Regional, a one-day event, as school and recreational teams go head-to-head with their sights set on a coveted championship and potentially earning spots in the UCA National High School Cheerleading Championship in February 2025.

What To Know About The Farm Bureau Exposition Center

The Farm Bureau Exposition Center opened in 2016 to host a variety of events each year – agricultural, entertainment, sports, meetings, festivals, weddings, commercial events, and more.

The venue is about 20 minutes from Nashville International Airport, so traveling in and out for events is convenient.

The property features 79,000 square feet of meeting space, the newest technology, and the ability to provide all of the amenities an event might require.

The Main Exhibit Hall is 45,000 square feet of flexible space, while the carpeted South Hall is 7,000 square feet for more intimate events.

The newly built facility is an important, but small, part of the James E. Ward Agricultural Grounds, which is where the Wilson County Fair has been held since 1979. Since 2021, the area also has hosted the Tennessee State Fair.

The Wilson County Fairgrounds holds the Tennessee State Fair in conjunction with the Wilson County Fair each year in mid-August. The dates for 2025 will be Aug. 14-23.

Things To Do In Lebanon, Tennessee

Click HERE to learn more about Lebanon, Tennessee, the birthplace of Cracker Barrel (1969).

Lebanon is located in Middle Tennessee, about 25 miles from Nashville, America’s Music City, so who knows – maybe on a quiet walk outside the Expo Center, you could hear some vibrant music that defines the Nashville nightlife.

Lebanon itself is small, quiet, historic, and scenic, so if you’re about a slower pace or being outdoors, you’re going to enjoy your time there for the 2024 UCA Tennessee Extreme Regional.

Technically, it’s also a college town as the home of Cumberland University, so you might end up at a diner counter next to a cattle farmer, a student, and a country music star. Who knows!?

When there is some time away from the competition stage, here’s a list of things to do in Lebanon.

When it’s time to eat, there are some staples you’ll want to try while in Middle Tennessee – Nashville hot chicken, Memphis barbecue, Tennessee whiskey, fried catfish, stack cake, Moon Pie, and sweet tea.

If there’s time to visit Nashville, the area will offer countless entertainment venues, sporting events, museums, art, restaurants, music along the Honky Tonk Highway and more.

Oh, and don’t miss the Music City Walk of Fame, the Grand Ole Opry, and the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum.
