Along with dozens of regional events each year, the Universal Cheerleaders Association also conducts a handful of All Star competitions, and the 2024 UCA Sevierville Showdown is the first of five for the 2024-2025 season. 

Even if you can’t make it in person, Varsity TV will be there to provide live coverage of the event, which will take place at the Sevierville Convention Center in Sevierville, Tennessee, on Dec. 7-8.

The UCA was founded five decades ago with the goal of bringing together the motivation and excitement of cheerleading and the entertainment of high-level skills and athleticism.

What To Know About The Sevierville Convention Center

The Sevierville Convention Center is a traditional convention facility, highlighted by an exhibit hall that offers more than 108,000 square feet of space and can be split into two separate spaces if needed.

Ballrooms, meeting rooms, a rotunda, on-site catering, a food court, and ample parking make the venue versatile and convenient for events and guests – there are even two golf courses right there, too, though that could be hit or miss in early December. 

Oh, and then there's the can’t-miss views of the Smoky Mountains.

Things To Do In Sevierville, Tennessee

Sevierville, Tennessee, offers visitors the chance to enjoy the amazing beauty of the Great Smoky Mountains, a mountain range along the Tennessee-North Carolina border. That includes doing so more formally at Great Smoky Mountains National Park for endless outdoor fun and scenery.

• 5 At-Large Bids to The Youth Summit
• Top 3 teams in eligible divisions will earn At-Large Bid to The Regional Summit
• 5 At-Large Bids to The Recreational Summit
• Qualifier Bids to The Quest for top 3 teams in bid-eligible divisions
• Golden Tickets to The U.S. Finals

The Varsity Cheer League by Varsity All Star

The Varsity Cheer League by Varsity All Star is the official ranking system for the sport of All Star cheerleading, changing the conversation from “Who won the weekend?” to “Who ranks at the top this season?”

Every team that competes at a Varsity All Star event this season will be included in The Varsity Cheer League.

Team rankings are determined by the points system displayed here. At each Varsity All Star event your team competes, your team will earn points based on the assigned event and placement point value.

At the end of the season, your six best Varsity All Star event scores will be used to calculate your final rank.

In total, 128 winners will be recognized from first to third place across each region. 

One champion will be crowned in each of the five regions across the eight eligible divisions and two League 6 conferences, meaning 42 championships will be awarded in total. Champions will win cash and prizes!
