The 2024 UCA Sandy Fall Classic is one of two Universal Cheerleaders Association events headed to Sandy, Utah, this season, with both heading back to familiar territory at the Mountain America Exposition Center. 

The UCA Sandy Fall Classic will take place Dec. 15, and all of the action will unfold live on Varsity TV!

Along with dozens of regional events each year, the UCA also conducts a handful of All Star competitions. There are five on the calendar for this season. 

The UCA was founded five decades ago with the goal of bringing together the motivation and excitement of cheerleading and the entertainment of high-level skills and athleticism. 

Now an industry leader, the organization is responsible for approximately 50 virtual, regional, and All Star events each year, along with the annual UCA National High School Cheerleading Championship at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida.

What To Know About The Mountain America Expo Center

The Mountain America Exposition Center in Sandy, Utah, is a familiar venue for the UCA and its competitors, as both the UCA Sandy Fall Classic and UCA Sandy Spring Classic were held there last season. 

The Expo Center opened in November 2000 and is the main venue on the Wasatch Front (a long and narrow metropolitan region in the north-central part of Utah) for trade shows, community events, meetings, and conferences, while the bigger events go to the nearby Salt Palace Convention Center in Salt Lake City.

The Mountain America Expo Center has five exhibit halls (totaling 243,000 square feet of exhibit space), several meeting rooms, 1,700 parking space,s and an accessible TRAX light rail stop.

How To Watch The 2024 UCA Sandy Fall Classic

The 2024 UCA Sandy Fall Classic will stream LIVE on Varsity TV.

The rebroadcast will stream on Varsity TV on a delay of 24 hours.

If you’re going to be in the Sandy area and want to see the event in person, tickets are available here. Spectator fees will be $19 for adults and $14 for military, seniors, and children.

• 5 Wild Card Bids to The Summit
• 5 Wild Card Bids to The D2 Summit
• 5 Wild Card Bids to The Youth Summit
• Top 3 teams in eligible divisions will earn At-Large Bid to The Regional Summit
• 1 Partially Paid Bid to The Recreational Summit
• 5 Wild Card Bids to The Recreational Summit

The Varsity Cheer League

The Varsity Cheer League is the official ranking system for the sport of All Star cheerleading, changing the conversation from “Who won the weekend?” to “Who ranks at the top this season?”

Every team that competes at a Varsity All Star event this season will be included in The Varsity Cheer League.

Team rankings are determined by the points system displayed here. At each Varsity All Star event your team competes, your team will earn points based on the assigned event and placement point value.

At the end of the season, your six best Varsity All Star event scores will be used to calculate your final rank.

In total, 128 winners will be recognized from first to third place across each region. 

One champion will be crowned in each of the five regions across the eight eligible divisions and two League 6 conferences, meaning 42 championships will be awarded in total. Champions will win cash and prizes!
