The nation’s best young dancers and cheerleaders are headed to the 2024 Champion Cheer and Dance Grand Nationals at the Baltimore Convention Center in Baltimore, and Varsity TV will be there to provide live coverage of the event on Dec. 7-8. 

The venue has become a popular destination for cheer and dance events, and competitors from both realms will get to enjoy the city and venue for two days of entertainment and competition.

The Baltimore Convention Center opened in 1979 and was expanded in 1996. It features 300,000 square feet of exhibition space, 50 meeting rooms, a multifunctional ballroom, catering and audio-visual services. It hosts more than 125 events each year, welcoming over 500,000 guests.

Along with the later-added Harborplace and the National Aquarium, the trio of venues are a huge part of Baltimore’s Inner Harbor and the tourism of the region. Guests will find plenty to do when it’s not time to compete. 

The area also has an amazing food scene, including Maryland blue crab.
