Spirit Cheer Super Nationals returns to Atlantic City, New Jersey, in 2025, and you won’t want to miss a minute of the action from the Atlantic City Convention Center – all of which will be broadcast live on Varsity TV on Jan. 11-12.

Spirit Cheer has been around for more than a quarter of a century and now produces multiple top-tier and cost-effective events each year for cheerleaders of all ages and skill levels.

The organization is based in Gainesville, Florida, and evolved from its early days, where the product was “NBA Fun Days” for cheerleaders, with the top team winning the opportunity to perform during halftime at an NBA game

What To Know About The Atlantic City Convention Center

Spirit Cheer Super Nationals will be back in familiar territory in 2025, returning to the Atlantic City Convention Center, and there’s plenty to see, do, and eat around the venue.

The venue was built in 1997 and welcomes more than half a million visitors each year. 

At nearly 1 million square feet, it’s one of the largest facilities on the East Coast, and the layout includes five exhibit halls, 45 meeting rooms,and pre-function space – even a train terminal that runs to Philadelphia. 

The property features 1,400 parking spots, an attached hotel, and beautiful award-winning architecture.

• At-Large Bids to The Summit for all division winners
• 6 Paid Bids to The D2 Summit

• 2 Paid Bids to The Youth Summit
• At-Large Bids to The Youth Summit for all division winners
• Four Paid Bids to The Regional Summit (two for Division I, two for Division II)
• Top 3 teams in eligible divisions will earn an At-Large Bid to The Regional Summit
• 5 At-Large Bids to The Recreational Summit
• Top 3 teams in bid-eligible division will earn a Qualifier Bid to The Quest

The League by Varsity All Star

The League by Varsity All Star is the official ranking system for the sport of All Star cheerleading, changing the conversation from “Who won the weekend?” to “Who ranks at the top this season?”

Every team that competes at a Varsity All Star event this season will be included in The Varsity Cheer League.

Team rankings are determined by the points system displayed here. At each Varsity All Star event your team competes, your team will earn points based on the assigned event and placement point value.

At the end of the season, your six best Varsity All Star event scores will be used to calculate your final rank.

In total, 128 winners will be recognized from first to third place across each region. 

One champion will be crowned in each of the five regions across the eight eligible divisions and two League 6 conferences, meaning 42 championships will be awarded in total. Champions will win cash and prizes!
