What To Know About The Seattle Convention Center

In 2025, the ATC Grand Nationals will take place at the Seattle Convention Center, which first began welcoming guests for meetings and events in 1988, but regularly has been renovated and expanded.

By the early 2000s, the first major renovation took place, adding space and making downtown Seattle more of a destination than ever. A result was the need for more hotels, restaurants, offices, living spaces, and shopping in the area.

The latest addition, Summit, opened in 2023, nearly doubled the amount of space the convention center can offer, adding more than 573,000 square feet, and the multi-building complex is ready to continue welcoming guests and events year-round.

Things To Do In Seattle

Seattle is an amazing place, full of culture, breathtaking landscapes, terrific food, and so much history.

Put on your walking shoes and hit the streets, or use one of the many modes of public transportation – light rail, bus, streetcars, monorail, taxis, shuttles, bikes, and scooters – to see the many landmarks and incredible views.

Some of the top things you’ll want to check out in the Emerald City are the Space Needle, Pikes Place Market, Museum of Flight, and the Seattle Aquarium. There are many parks, and places to hike – even whale watching! This list of things to do in Seattle definitely should help.

If watching sports is your thing, the Seattle area has five professional teams for men’s sports and two for women. Late January may be too late for football and too early for baseball, but maybe some hockey or hoops will meet the requirements.

When it’s time to chow down, the coast of Washington State is a great spot for seafood and chowder, sushi – even hot dogs, as the area has its own spin on the old favorite. A Seattle dog comes with a not-so-secret ingredient on it – cream cheese!

Here are some top places to eat in Seattle

Oh, don’t forget, Starbucks was born and raised in Seattle, so you can grab a cup where it all started. However, Starbucks isn’t the only coffee game in town, so maybe a taste test would be a fun activity.

The League by Varsity All Star

The League by Varsity All Star is the official ranking system for the sport of All Star cheerleading, changing the conversation from “Who won the weekend?” to “Who ranks at the top this season?”

Every team that competes at a Varsity All Star event this season will be included in The Varsity Cheer League.

Team rankings are determined by the points system displayed here. At each Varsity All Star event your team competes, your team will earn points based on the assigned event and placement point value.

At the end of the season, your six best Varsity All Star event scores will be used to calculate your final rank.

In total, 128 winners will be recognized from first to third place across each region.

One champion will be crowned in each of the five regions across the eight eligible divisions and two League 6 conferences, meaning 42 championships will be awarded in total. Champions will win cash and prizes!
