Everything you need to know to watch the 2025 Aloha Pittsburgh Showdown on Varsity TV on Feb. 2.
The 2025 Aloha Pittsburgh Showdown is one of more than a dozen events on the schedule for the Aloha Spirit Championships this season and one of two scheduled for February. The other is taking place in Concord, North Carolina, on the same day.
The Pittsburgh Showdown will take place Feb. 2 and bring All Star cheer and dance teams to the Robert Morris University – UPMC Events Center in Moon Township, Pennsylvania, with Varsity TV there to provide live coverage of the entire event!
Since 2001, Aloha Spirit events have been bringing a bit of Hawaiian flair to each competition. At the luau-themed events, there is an emphasis on “Ohana” or family, and even the awards share the same sentiment.
Another special feature of each event is a 3-foot custom trophy known as the KA MAHALO Award. It is given to the team that exemplifies the spirit of the islands and displays above-and-beyond sportsmanship throughout the competition.
Enjoy complete coverage of the event, as All Star cheer teams go head-to-head with their sights set on obtaining points to The Varsity Cheer League by Varsity All Star and a bid to one of the prestigious end-of-season championships!

Things To Do In The Pittsburgh Area
Moon Township, Pennsylvania, is part of the Pittsburgh metropolitan area and home of the Pittsburgh International Airport, so traveling in and out and back and forth to the competition venue should be easy.
Moon is one of the oldest towns in the area and began in the late 1780s as an agricultural community and welcomed the airport in 1952, so there are many historical areas and landmarks, as well as industrial buildings and sites, that have been preserved and give a clear picture of the area’s evolution and growth.
Due to the area’s diversity and how it changed over time, there’s plenty to see and do – state park, gardens, museums, historical tours, amusement parks, professional sports and more.
Downtown Pittsburgh is just a few miles away, so that means more of everything. Click here to see what Pittsburgh has to offer.
When it’s time to eat, the region is known for some terrific specialties and specific establishments. One of the most famous is Primanti Brothers, a sandwich chain known for adding French fries and coleslaw to the sandwiches so truck drivers could eat when behind the wheel.
Did you know, Pittsburgh also was the birthplace of Heinz tomato ketchup, the Big Mac and the Clark Bar?
