Champion Spirit Group Grand Nationals makes a return trip to Schaumburg, Illinois, and the Schaumburg Convention Center in 2025, and Varsity TV will be there to provide live coverage of the event on Feb. 8-9.
The Midwest-based CSG is known for creating a fun atmosphere and family-friendly environment around its events – one-day competitions, dance-only events and two-day national championships.

What To Know About The Schaumburg Convention Center
CSG Grand Nationals heads back to the Schaumburg Convention Center in 2025, and competitors again will get to enjoy one of the top facilities in the Midwest.
The Schaumburg Convention Center features almost 150,000 square feet of exhibition space, meeting rooms and the flexibility to host any type of event. It’s also connected to a 500-room hotel, which is convenient for competitors and their families.

The convention center/hotel combo also allows for a few convenient food and drink options on-site.
The venue is close to Chicago’s O’Hare International Airport and 26 miles from downtown Chicago, giving visitors the opportunity to enjoy the quieter Illinois suburbs or the Windy City itself when there’s some downtime.

The Varsity Cheer League by Varsity All Star
The Varsity Cheer League by Varsity All Star is the official ranking system for the sport of All Star cheerleading, changing the conversation from “Who won the weekend?” to “Who ranks at the top this season?”
Every team that competes at a Varsity All Star event this season will be included in The Varsity Cheer League.
Team rankings are determined by the points system displayed here. At each Varsity All Star event your team competes, your team will earn points based on the assigned event and placement point value.
At the end of the season, your six best Varsity All Star event scores will be used to calculate your final rank.
In total, 128 winners will be recognized from first to third place across each region.
One champion will be crowned in each of the five regions across the eight eligible divisions and two League 6 conferences, meaning 42 championships will be awarded in total. Champions will win cash and prizes!
