Cheer Athletics Cheetahs Aiming For Win #10

The Cheer Athletics Cheetahs have forever marked their name in The MAJORS history books as the winnest team in the event's history. Cheetahs have won nine MAJORS titles in the Large Coed division! This season, the Cheetahs will aim to secure their third title in a row, as well as their 10th overall title. SSX - These Sharks Aren't Messing Around!

Cheer Extreme SSX made a statement last season at The MAJORS 2024 walking out and absolutely crushing their routine to walk away as Grand Champions with the highest score of the entire competition! This season, SSX is picking up right where they left off already showcasing some beautiful routines loaded with talent & skill. Cheer Extreme SSX has won a total of seven MAJORS titles, including three in a row spanning from 2022-2024. Cheer Extreme Raleigh Owner & SSX head coach Kelly Helton told Varsity TV this summer that this year's team is made up of some of the most unique athletes.

"For the first time, we have someone from outside of the country on this team, so the girls represent 11 different states and two countries," said Helton.

Leshay Bravo is an athlete on SSX coming all the way from Nottingham, England. She says she's living out the American Dream being a part of SSX and the Cheer Extreme Program.

"What made me want to come to Cheer Extreme was watching all of their teams and seeing how amazing they did. I always wanted to be a part of the SSX legacy," said Bravo, a backspot on SSX. "This year I'm most looking forward to going to all of the major competitions like The MAJORS, NCA, and the USASF Cheerleading Worlds with this team, and getting to experience the year with SSX and the American Dream," said Bravo.

Adelyn Wirges says shes dreamed of this moment ever since she started attending The MAJORS as a fan.

"I've gone for the past five years with one of my friends. We always went together and we would always say, 'One day we're going to make it here. We're going to work really hard and we're going to get here.' Just being able to be one of those fan girls and looking at all these crazy teams and knowing that you're there now is really cool," said Wirges, a fifth-year athlete on the ICE Golden Girls.
