The National Cheerleaders Association All-Star National Championship makes another visit to Dallas and the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center in 2025, and Varsity TV will be there to provide live coverage of the event.
The popularity and prestige of this competition have grown so much that there’s now a waiting list for Elite teams!
Since 1948, NCA has been on the cutting edge of all things competitive cheerleading and lived by the motto “The Work Is Worth It.”
For more than 75 years, the organization has been focused on competition, camps/instruction and philanthropy, all geared toward helping participants become the best cheerleaders, leaders and people they can become.
Enjoy complete coverage of the competition, as All Star teams of all skill levels from Division I and Division II converge on the Lone Star State to prove who’s the best. They’ll also be focused on obtaining points to The Varsity Cheer League by Varsity All Star and a bid to one of the prestigious end-of-season championships!

What To Know About The Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center
The Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center has become a familiar destination for top-tier cheer and dance events, including the ones with the most on the line, such as the NCA All-Star National Championship.
The venue features a million square feet of exhibit space, three ballrooms, 88 meeting rooms, a 1,750-seat theater and a 9,816-seat arena, and it’s connected to a hotel with more than 1,000 rooms.
By welcoming every type of convention, meeting, concert, competition, trade show and other events, the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center has become one of the busiest facilities in the country.

Things To Do In The Dallas Area
No matter how many times you visit the Dallas-Fort Worth area for one of these cheer weekends, you’ll never run out of things to do and delicious food to enjoy.

If you’re a sports fan, you’re in luck. The NHL’s Dallas Stars are in town to host the Los Angeles Kings at the American Airlines Center in Dallas on Feb. 28 at 7 p.m. Central, and they’ll welcome the St. Louis Blues on March 2 at 5 p.m. CST.
The NBA’s Dallas Mavericks also will be in town, hosting the Milwaukee Bucks on March 1 at 7:30 p.m. and the Sacramento Kings on March 3 at 7:30 p.m.
If you’re a college baseball fan, you can swing by Globe Life Field in Arlington to see some of the top teams in the country compete throughout the week.
The area also has an incredible food scene – everything from Tex-Mex to authentic Mexican to true Texas BBQ – and so much more, as the diverse culture is reflected in the delicious food.

The League by Varsity All Star
The League by Varsity All Star is the official ranking system for the sport of All Star cheerleading, changing the conversation from “Who won the weekend?” to “Who ranks at the top this season?”
Every team that competes at a Varsity All Star event this season will be included in The League by Varsity All Star.
Team rankings are determined by the points system displayed here. At each Varsity All Star event your team competes, your team will earn points based on the assigned event and placement point value.
At the end of the season, your six best Varsity All Star event scores will be used to calculate your final rank.
In total, 128 winners will be recognized from first to third place across each region.
One champion will be crowned in each of the five regions across the eight eligible divisions and two League 6 conferences, meaning 42 championships will be awarded in total. Champions will win cash and prizes!
