The stage is set for the 2025 UCA National High School Cheerleading Championship (NHSCC) at The Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, FL! Some of the best high school cheer teams in the nation make their way to the ESPN Wide World of Sports to showcase their incredible routines. Year after year, the talent only continues to get bigger & better as these teams showcase routines loaded with skills and school spirit! All season, teams have been competing at regional competitions to secure their spot to the 2025 UCA National High School Cheerleading Championship. Now, the time has come for all the action to get underway! From February 7-10, we will see Game Day routines & performance routines. As we get ready for another incredible weekend of high school cheerleading, here's a look at what to keep an eye on. 


What To Look Out For: 2025 UCA National High School Cheerleading Championship 


Greenup County High School 

Greenup County High School is known for their powerful routines loaded with difficult tumbling and stunt sequences. You can count on the reigning Medium Varsity Division II champions to be a contender! But this season, they'll have some company joining them! Greenup County High School is bringing a JV team back to the competition for the first time since the 70โ€™s! We're looking forward to seeing what Greenup County High School brings to the stage at the 2025 UCA National High School Cheerleading Championship!

Corner Canyon High School & Bingham High School

Corner Canyon High School has added their name to the mix as a title contender year after year. The Chargers are 3x UCA National Champions including in 2018, 2021, and 2023. This season, Corner Canyon High School is set to compete in Large Varsity DI for the first time ever! They'll represent their home state of Utah along with Bingham High School. Bingham High School took the silver medal in the division at the 2024 UCA National High School Cheerleading Championship. Just seven miles away from each other, the two know each other quite well and always compete hard at the Utah State Championships. We're eager to see these two take the stage together in the same division! You know they will both put on a show! 

Live Oak High School

Live Oak High School needs no introduction! The Eagles are 8x UCA National Champions, and are aiming to take home their eighth consecutive National Title in a row! Live Oak High School is a powerhouse name that has become a fan-favorite to watch year after year. They always come back to the competition stage each season raising the bar higher and higher for elite skills. The Eagles won the National Title in Large Varsity Division I last season, but this season will be taking the stage in Super Varsity Division I. Keep an eye out for all the incredible stunts they showcase including back handspring full ups to immediate lib, hand in hands to full twisting pop throughs, and extended stretch full arounds!

Brother Martin High School 

The Crusaders are back and are ready to take a statement! Brother Martin High School is returning to the 2025 UCA National High School Cheerleading Championship with some momentum after taking home a National Championship in 2024. Brother Martin High School is doing something they've never done before and are starting off their routine with a pyramid! After learning a pyramid inspired a coed partner stunt from The University of Central Florida, the Crusaders worked hard to perfect their new pyramid and are eager to show it off! They will also be taking the stage in Large Varsity Coed DII this season!

Large Coed Division I As A Whole

If you want an exciting division to watch, be sure to circle Large Coed Division I on your schedule! The coed dynamic always adds something exciting to the mix with some incredible strength showcased in those partner stunts. In 2024, Graves County High School finished on top as National Champions. This is an immensely talented division with teams who are no strangers to finding success, including Bartow High School - your 6x National Champions. Keep an eye out for teams like Hudson High School, Tahquitz High School, Bartow High School, and McCracken County High School in this division! 

Mater Dei High School

If you are looking to watch crisp, clean cheerleading, look no further than Mater Dei High School! The Monarchs are the reigning Small Varsity Division I champions, winning a loaded division that had 108 teams last season!! The Monarchs know how to execute in all areas including clean tumbling with a nice stick & stand, and difficult stunt sequences that hit and don't move! They've dropped a few videos on social media showcasing some of those incredible stunts & pyramids they've been working on. We know they've been hard at work prepping their routine for this very moment!
