GROOVE Dance Grand Nationals heads back to the LeConte Center in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, in 2025.

Dance fans watching on Varsity TV won’t get to take in the mountain views in one of the most picturesque areas of the country, but they’ll get to enjoy wire-to-wire live coverage of the event from March 22-23. 

The Groove Experience was introduced in 2009 to give All Star dancers events catered specifically to them, from the stage builds to the dance-only judges. 

Groove actually powers the dance halls and competition areas to elevate the atmosphere and production level at each event.

What To Know About The LeConte Event Center At Pigeon Forge

When GROOVE Dance Grand Nationals returns to the LeConte Event Center in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, those who competed in the past will get to revisit one of the most beautiful places in America, while newcomers will be treated to a top-tier competition and unmatchable backdrop.

The LeConte Center, which opened in 2013, was named in honor of Mount LeConte in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, which can be seen from the venue.

The facility features 232,000 square feet of space, with more than 100,000 of that being uninterrupted (no columns or obstructions), allowing the venue to host any kind of event, show, concert, expo or meeting for more than 12,000 visitors. 

There are 4,000 parking spaces across two lots that are connected or adjacent to the building and more than 100 restaurants with five miles of the $50 million facility. There also are many lodging options nearby and proximity to countless fun things to do when not competing.

Even TV personality Guy Fieri has a restaurant in the area – Downtown Flavortown – which is 43,000 square feet of food and fun, featuring over-the-top food, drinks and games for the whole family (even 14 lanes of duckpin bowling).
