The Ultimate Battle heads back to the Myrtle Beach Convention Center in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, in 2025, and Varsity TV will be there to provide live coverage of the event on March 28.

This event is a showcase and an opportunity for top-tier teams that already have proven themselves and earned bids to The 2025 USASF Cheerleading Worlds. 

It’s an ultimate display of appreciation, as Spirt Sports conducts this event as a way to recognize the hard work and dedication of all the teams headed to The Cheerleading Worlds, which will be held in Orlando, Florida, from April 25-28.

The teams that worked so hard throughout the year to earn those bids now get a chance to showcase their skills, get a tune-up and win some prize money to help offset the cost of the trip to Orlando. 

The prize fund for The Ultimate Battle is determined by the number of teams that enter, and it is divided into two categories – teams with full bids and teams with at-large or partial bids to The Cheerleading Worlds. The bigger the field, the bigger the prize fund!

What To Know About The Myrtle Beach Convention Center

Just as we get an extra hour of daylight and the weather is starting to warm up, the Ultimate Battle returns to the Myrtle Beach Convention Center in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, and competitors get to combine a fun weekend of competition with a spring getaway.

The Myrtle Beach Convention Center is minutes from gorgeous beaches, shopping, golf, entertainment and incredible dining – and while there might be some Spring Break action going on, it still will be too early for the summer crowd, so folks in town for the Ultimate Battle will have the place to themselves. 

The Myrtle Beach Convention Center features more than 250,000 square feet of exhibition space (100,800 is column-free) and can be transformed to host almost any kind of event. 

There’s also a 17,000-square-foot ballroom, more than a dozen meeting rooms, room for a registration area and receptions and an events plaza.
