The Midwest Regional Summit is part of The Regional Summit Championships – one of five regional events, actually – joining the West, Southwest, Northeast and Southeast competitions, which are being held across two weekends in April. 

For The Midwest Regional Summit, athletes and their guests will return to Indianapolis and the Indiana State Fairgrounds, this time taking over the Indiana Fairgrounds Exposition Hall.  

Varsity TV will be there to provide live coverage of all the Regional Summit events, with one being held April 5-6 and the other four, including the Midwest event, taking place April 12-13.

Throughout each season, All Star teams in eligible divisions can earn bids to the Regional Summit events. By having multiple competitions, teams are able to compete for the title of Regional Summit champion as close to home as possible.

What To Know About The Indiana Fairgrounds Exposition Hall

When the Midwest Regional Summit heads to Indiana Fairgrounds Exposition Hall and West Pavilion in Indianapolis in 2025, the landscape will be familiar, but the venue will be different.

The competition jumps from the property’s Champions Pavilion to the Exposition Hall and West Pavilion. These are just a few of more than a dozen buildings/areas that are available to host a variety of events each year. There are halls, pavilions, outdoor grandstands – even a barn area. 

In 2023, the Midwest Regional Summit was held at the nearby Indiana Convention Center. 

The Exposition Hall offers 74,000 square feet of flexible space and can host everything from banquets to trade shows. There’s also a large meeting room (1,015 square feet) and plenty of parking. See more info and the Exposition Hall HERE.

The larger West Pavilion is the largest event venue at the Indiana State Fairgrounds and features 147,000 square feet of space, permanent concessions, office space and two ticket offices. It connects to the Indiana Farmers Coliseum and South Pavilion by enclosed walkway. See more info about the West Pavilion HERE. 

The Indiana State Fairgrounds & Events Center opened in 1892 and has hosted the Indiana State Fair more than 125 times. In 1990, it became a year-round event center, which included renovations and upgrades to the various buildings to be more accommodating. 

There’s also the Agriculture Horticulture Building, Blue Ribbon Pavilion, Celebration Park, Covered Bridge, Discovery Hall, DNR Amphitheater, Exposition Hall, Grand Hall, Harvest Pavilion, Hoosier Lottery Grandstand, Indiana Farm Bureau Fall Creek Pavilion, Indiana Farmers Coliseum, Normandy Barn, Pop Weaver Youth Pavilion, Purdue Extension Building, South Pavilion and West Pavilion. 

The Indiana State Fair is one of many events held on the property, and the 2025 edition will be held Aug. 2-18. For a list of other events, click HERE.
