The Southeast Regional Summit is part of The Regional Summit Championships – one of five regional events, actually – joining the West, Southwest, Northeast and Midwest competitions, which are being held across two weekends in April.
For The Southeast Regional Summit, athletes and their guests will be back at the Georgia International Convention Center in College Park, Georgia, and Varsity TV will be there to provide live coverage of the event April 12-13.
Last year, The Southeast Regional Summit was held in the same venue.
Throughout each season, All Star teams in eligible divisions can earn bids to the Regional Summit events. By having multiple competitions, teams are able to compete for the title of Regional Summit champion as close to home as possible.

What To Know About The Georgia International Convention Center
The Georgia International Convention Center in College Park, Georgia, has become a familiar destination for top-tier cheer and dance events, and the venue again will welcome The Southeast Regional Summit in 2025.
The facility, which opened in 1979 and was expanded in 1996, features 300,000 square feet of exhibition space, 50 meeting rooms, a multifunctional ballroom, catering and audio-visual services. It hosts more than 125 events each year.
The Georgia International Convention Center has become a regular host for cheer and dance events, including the NCA Atlanta Classic in January 2025. The nearby Georgia World Congress Center also has been a regular host on the 2025 calendar.
The GICC is conveniently located less than a mile from the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport. It’s so close to the GICC that participants and guests can get to the venue by car or by the free ATL SkyTrain, as the two locations are connected.
Once at Georgia’s newest, and second-largest convention center, visitors will see more than 300,000 square feet of space, more than 7,000 nearby hotel rooms and top-of-the-line accommodations and technology.

The fine folks at the GICC also operate the Gateway Center Arena, a 5,000-seat venue that hosts sporting events, concerts, shows, graduations conventions and more.
The Gateway Center Arena is the home of the Atlanta Dream, a professional women’s basketball team and the College Park Skyhawks, the G League affiliate of the Atlanta Hawks.

The capital city of Georgia, Atlanta has a rich history that began in the 1830s, when the area was connected to the Midwest via railroad, and that’s just part of the history and culture celebrated in museums and galleries around the area.
